Our Story

The birth of iDust uRest Cleaning Service comes from a very personal journey.

I grew up feeling ashamed of my mother’s profession — she worked as a house cleaner. I would always come up with other professions when asked, because I believed that this kind of work wasn’t valued. But thanks to her dedication, all her children were able to study — and I myself graduated in Law in Brazil.

After a difficult breakup, when my ex-fiancé got someone else pregnant, I decided to change my life and leave São Paulo. In 2008, I arrived in the United States without speaking English and needing to support myself. The first opportunity I had was — of course — in house cleaning. I had always helped my mom, and I already knew how to clean very well — after all, I had the best teacher.

At first, I thought it would be a temporary job, but I soon realized: cleaning is nothing to be ashamed of — it’s an essential profession. Through my work, I bring back time and lightness to overwhelmed families, who feel relief when they return to a clean and organized home.

Recently, a client sent me a message that deeply moved me:

“Oh my goodness Fabricia! I can’t begin to tell you how thankful I am… I feel so much better moving into this home now as it was truly not livable to me. We can’t express how appreciative we are… You helped us so much.”

That message reminded me once again that cleaning isn’t just about removing dust — it’s about transforming spaces, creating moments, easing routines, and improving lives.

Today, I’m proud to say that iDust uRest Cleaning Service was born with a mission: to help families have more time for what really matters — to love, to live, and to take care of each other.

Thank you, Mom, for teaching me not only how to clean, but to do everything with love, honesty, and responsibility — always delivering value in what we do.
